The attached picture was taken about a year ago, a few months after Jim's death.  Jim and I had been married almost 43 years. I am so blessed to have had so many years with such a remarkable man. He died of anaplastic thyroid cancer (a few months after diagnosis).

Our daughter (Danielle) lives in Tucson and our son (John) in Palo Alto, with their families. I am about equidistant between our two children and (3) granddaughters.  I am able to visit with both families fairly often.  This house is large enough that John/Donna and girls (the girls are 4 & 2) can have the upstairs to themselves when they come.  Danielle/Mark and Mugsy usually stay in Carlsbad, when they visit.  I am underfoot in Tucson when visiting with Danielle/Mark, they continue to invite me back!

I received a B.S. in Pharmacy from the U of A and am now a working pharmacist again, after being away for 8 years....wonderful to have a career where I could find employment (in my dotage)!
