Carroll has 3 children, 9 to 20 and says she is beginning to teach again. She has her B.A. from the U of A and has done graduate work in Kansas and Colorado schools. She has received Jaycees Outstanding Young Educator award, taught program, 'Free To Be Thin" (where were you when we needed you?) chaired Religious Education Commission; volunteer in elementary school and instigated, developed and oversaw pre-school kindergarten programs in 3 Catholic churches.
