Fifty years seems like the blink of an eye.  Of course, when you consider my son and daughter are now in their mid 40's and they have 7 children between them, 4 in high school it sort of brings things into perspective.
 
It took me longer than a lot of you to find that very special soul mate but Monty and I have been together for 20 years.  We both enjoyed our working careers but being retired is the best job ever. While working we spent free time, camping, hiking and exploring the great outdoors.  We still love doing that but now we travel in a RV.  We've been from the Florida Keys to Nova Scotia, Victoria BC to the beaches of Mexico.  When not traveling I love to play tennis and enjoy Jazzercise.  I'm reading my way thru the mystery section at the library.     
 
My career was spent in the College of Engineering at the U of A.  I loved working with the students/faculty/staff as a Senior Program Coordinator in the Academic Affairs Office of the College Dean.  It was a great working environment, and what better place to spend your day than the U of A campus.   Go Cats!
