 | | 8/29/00 Sharon, other than your children, what is it that you are the proudest of your accomplishments over the past 40 years? "Let's see, my proudest accomplishment was when I completed my Certificate of Concentration at ASU West in Women's Studies, 1995. President Lattie Coor was proud of me too; I was the only one that got a big hug from him! I worked for ASU for 12 years as an Executive Assistant to the Provost and Office Manager. I retired from the state three years ago. Prior to that I worked 8 years for Peoria Unified School District as an Administrative Secretary. I am divorced, have two children and two grandchildren. My son (33) and daughter (28) are both in the airline business so I travel quite a bit. Some of my travels have taken me to Greece, England, Spain, France, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. John, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Encinada, Alaska, and Hawaii. My next trip is Italy in November. I love history (funny, I hated it in HS!) and to see all the architecture of the old world, the various cultures and art that is so prevalent abroad. Currently I am involved in volunteer activities and reside in Mesa, AZ. I am looking forward to seeing everyone in October." 06/17/09 Update As a "younger" parent, involved in school activities as homeroom mother, holding office in PTA, after school activities and sports as my children came up through school.
