My 30 years as a registered nurse has come to a sudden halt with the event of a mountain biking accident in which my right hand took the brunt of the event. However, I have built a studio in my garden and my days are filled with painting water colors, investing in the stock market, and enjoying my exquisite little beach town of Pacific Grove, which is bordered by Pebble Beach and Monterey. My daughters are 34 and 36, a newly graduated elementary teacher, and a registered nurse/chiropractor. I'll be residing in a cabin at nearby Paraiso Hot Springs this summer. Long early morning beach walks with my dog Scruffy start each day.
