I am a  Professor of Biology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California where I teach marine biology courses on campus, in Baja California, and the Western Caribbean. I am married and have four children and two grandchildren. My passion is SCUBA diving which I use for work and pleasure. I teach SCUBA classes both for scientific and recreational certification.

Probably the proudest moments have been the feedback I have received from former students on the difference I have made in their lives.
